Adrian Oades is an independent author whom had a dream of creating an easy to use cookbook that would change making dinner for the best. The cookbook includes easy to read instructions for those who want easy flowing cooking, have difficulty in reading English.
The Adrian was inspired to create this book series after sitting down in his kitchen with his daughter browsing their cook book to decide on what would be for dinner. He then thought to himself " if only there was a cook book that had only easy dinner recipes in it"

Why did you decide to become a business owner?
I chose a very simple career that worked well for me but as the years went on my current work was not as rewarding mentally. I wanted to start a business that stimulated me.

What services or products do you offer?
Easy to read cookbooks with beautiful design.
What are your company's goals? My two main goals are as followed - Firstly I want to publish not one but a series of the cookbook to the world. Then I would like to expand to merchandise and offer different communities in need with help.
Please describe your business
I'm excited to announce I've just published my first cookbook. Follow-The-Flow is a series of cookbooks that are easy to read and use graphics as a style of reading the cooking instructions.
What is a service or platform that helped you business your business or sales? We usually don't support larger companies but Amazon was the biggest platform we subscribed to and this helped push sales in the beginning of our project.
Do you like being a business owner?
I must say I do enjoy it - although we have had a quite the experience leading up to launching of the cookbook.
What is your favourite part of being a business owner?
I appreciate all of the freedom I have for not just work hours but overall control of the end product. You're truly building a dream when becoming a business owner.
Why did you decide to start your business in the first place?
I truly believed that I had a great idea and wanted to produce something that others could use to improve their everyday life. And here we are today!
Do you see yourself as successful?
Yes, I'm proud to say that I do feel successful with where I am today.
As an entrepreneur are you happy with yourself?
I'm extremely happy with myself as an entrepreneur.
What are some of the rewards owning your own business gives you?
I would say the biggest reward it the freedom to be creative. Nowadays most people seek a job which most of the time pulls the reins on creativity. Owning a business allows me to explore the creative side I've always had.
What is your most proudest moment as a business owner?
Creating a book was much more challenging than I thought. When I completed the cookbook this was a very proud moment for me.
What was the most difficult moment as a business owner?
Something many business owners don't talk about is how many times doors get slammed in your face because of your social standing. Publishing companies were unwilling to publish our book similar to the story of J.K Rowling. When pubishling a cookbook publishing companies look for celebrity chefs or popular content creators who already have a large following which I did not have. Finally we were able to get it released and launched.
What is something your business does that you are proud to tell others? (Social responsibility)?
I would like to say we empower other people to eat healthy with minimal effort for the prep.
Do you have any advice to give start-ups or someone looking to work independently?
Although it may be tough at times never give up on your dream. Stay strong and keep pushing forward!
